Katherine LaNasa played the role of Nurse Dana Evans in the HBO drama The Pitt, which earned her an Emmy nomination. Katherine's performance as Dana was influenced by her own experiences as a patient undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Katherine was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023, during a period when she was feeling 'better than ever'. She underwent surgery and radiation, and during this time, she questioned her future as an actress. After praying to God, Katherine was cast in Daredevil: Born Again and received the scripts for The Pitt.
